ABOUT COURSE
The 13th educational course of the European Pediatric Surgeons Association (EUPSA) for Central and Eastern Europe "Minimal Access Pediatric Surgery and Urology – 2020" will take place in Moscow, on the basis of I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University), on March 12–13.
The educational course is regularly held by the European Pediatric Surgeons Association in different cities of Europe.
With the assistance of the Russian Association of Pediatric Surgeons, Sechenov University and Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education in Moscow such an event will be organized for the first time.
Lectures will traditionally be given by leading pediatric surgeons from Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Great Britain and Poland.
Industry leaders and clinicians from Russia will also share their experience with colleagues.

The program of the two-day educational course "Minimal Access Pediatric Surgery and Urology — 2020" consists of 22 lectures.
The event is primarily dedicated to the issues of thoracoscopy and laparoscopy use for children with various defects and diseases of thoracic and abdominal cavity, retroperitoneal space.
Participants of the course will consider a wide range of issues: from thoracoscopic correction of esophageal atresia to laparoscopically assisted interventions for children with anorectal defects.
Issues of endoscopic intraluminal correction of geneogenous megaureter and single-port laparoscopic operations in pediatric urology will also be discussed.

- 4Laparoscopic surgeries for children with Hirsprung disease and anorectal malformations
- 5New technologies (magnetic compression anastomoses of the esophagus, ICG fluorescence) in pediatric surgery
- 6Single-port endovideosurgical interventions in pediatric urology
- 7Interventional approach to treat injuries of solid organs of children
LECTURES WILL CONTAIN DETAILED INFORMATION ON THE FOLLOWING:
Indications and techniques of minimal access interventions
Short-term and long-term results of surgical treatment
Possible complications, ways of their prevention and correction
Each lecture will end with a discussion during which the participants of the event will be able to ask their questions.
This course is useful for both beginners and experienced pediatric surgeons. Specifically for Russian participants the event is accredited in the CME (Continuing Medical Education) system.
